⚔️ CORLYS MAY HAVE JUST SAVED DAEMON FROM THE ONE PERSON HE COULDN’T DEFEAT Corlys and Daemon have never exactly been friends. There is respect between them, but also suspicion, history and plenty of reasons to keep their distance. Yet at Tumbleton, Corlys saw something in Daemon that made all of that temporarily irrelevant. Steve Toussaint says the Sea Snake recognized where Daemon’s state of mind was taking him — and decided he couldn’t simply stand by and watch. The reason makes their strange finale pairing far more emotional than it first appeared.
