27-YEAR-OLD POLICE OFFICER DEAD IN HORRIFIC ACCIDENT — THE MOMENT BEFORE THE COLLISION THAT THOSE PRESENT WILL NEVER FORGET A seemingly ordinary shift turned into tragedy when a 27-year-old police officer lost his life in a horrific accident, leaving behind widespread shock and grief. Another colleague remains in critical condition at the hospital. The scene was described as chaotic, filled with deafening noises and flashing lights that shattered the night sky. All of this happened in a split second, but enough for witnesses to realize the gravity of the situation. And amidst this sequence of events, there was a moment just before the collision — an unusual movement, an almost instinctive reaction, yet so quick that no one had time to understand what was happening. What was happening — now the most haunting detail for many, because it seemed to signal that everything had changed in a split second and there was no turning back.

“Bradley was a popular colleague who will be much missed and we will be doing all we can to support his family and close colleagues at this time.

“Policing is a family and words cannot describe the pain we are all feeling and how this news will affect us in the days, weeks and months ahead.

“This sad incident serves as a horrific example of the risks police officers face and how police officers can sadly make the ultimate sacrifice as they strive to keep the public safe.”
