Noah Wyle’s awards season win didn’t end when the Golden Globes cameras stopped rolling.

Less than 24 hours after picking up a Golden Globe Award for his leading role on The Pitt, the longtime TV favorite found himself accepting a very different kind of honor—one that didn’t come with a press line. When Wyle got home, he was greeted by a handmade trophy waiting alongside his official award, complete with a simple but powerful inscription: “Noah Wyle: Best Dad.”

The actor shared the moment on Instagram the following day, posting a photo of the foil-crafted statue next to his Golden Globe. “What an incredible night,” he wrote. “My heart is full.”

“I think THE BEST DAD award is the biggest win here!!!!” one wrote in the comments, while another said, “Congrats Noah! So well deserved on both awards 🔥😍.”.

Another wrote, “Congrats, Noah!! So happy for you! But I think the aluminum foil one is the best award of the night. One of a kind, like you.”

His 20-year-old son, Auden, even chimed in, writing, “It’s true. I was a voter on the second win ❤️.”

Wyle, 54, won Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series at the 2026 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday, January 11, for his portrayal of Dr. Michael “Robby” Robinavitch on the popular TV drama. But if his speech made one thing clear, it’s that the win felt bigger than a single role.

“What a truly humbling moment is this. Oh, my goodness. I’m so incredibly grateful, and I don’t know how to say all my gratitude for 54 years in 60 seconds,” he said from the stage. He later added, “I’ve been very blessed in my life. I was raised in a family that put a high priority on art… and I’ve been supported by an incredible wife and three great children all along the way.” Before wrapping up, he gave a birthday shoutout to his spouse. “Lastly, to my beautiful wife, Sara, happy birthday. I hope you’re enjoying your party.”

Wyle is a father of three: sons Owen, 23, and Auden, whom he shares with ex-wife Tracy Warbin, and daughter Frances, 10, whom he shares with wife Sara Wyle.

The Pitt also took home Best Television Series – Drama that night. As Wyle joined his castmates onstage, he shared a warm embrace with former ER costar George Clooney—a reunion that echoed another recent full-circle moment.

Just one day earlier, Wyle and Clooney reunited twice at the Movies for Grownups Awards in Beverly Hills, where both actors were honored. Presenting Wyle with his award, Clooney joked, “I would nominate Noah Wyle as the first guy” for a hypothetical “Sexiest Man Still Alive” issue, before turning sincere. “He was the kindest person I ever met… When I grow up, I want to be Noah Wyle.”
