“Calm down, kid… you can do it.” — THE SMALLEST HORSE ON THE BIGGEST STAGE TURNED A TILDY STEP INTO A SUPER BOWL MOMENT THAT STUNNED AMERICA Under the soft yellow lights of the quiet stable, the smallest member of the Budweiser Clydesdale family trembled, searching for support on its still-clumsy legs. Its tiny body barely reached the edge of the stable door. Its ears twitched at the distant sounds while outside, the entire United States focused on the fiery stage of Super Bowl LX. Instead of the familiar pounding of hooves that has been a hallmark of the Super Bowl for decades, the 2026 preview chose the most fragile moment. A hesitant step. A slight slip. A deep breath before regaining balance. That hesitant demeanor seemed to slow the entire frame. In the distance, the adult Clydesdale horses stood majestically like silent monuments, watching. The young horse gradually gained steadiness with each movement, from a tentative stroll to a powerful run. Then, unexpectedly, it sprinted across the sun-drenched field in a wide, emotional shot. The journey of learning to stand firm became a symbol of the beginning of every legend. It reminded millions of viewers that every half-century legacy began with a very human tremor. And amidst the most boisterous show of the year, what touched the heart was that small figure daring to move forward as the lights shone upon it.

The Smallest Horse on the Biggest Stage — Why a Wobbly Baby Clydesdale Barely Tall Enough to See Over the Stable Door Is Quietly Carrying the Weight of a Half-Century American Icon, as Budweiser’s understated Super Bowl 2026 preview turns a single, unsteady step into a full sprint across open fields, reframing the spectacle of the world’s loudest night through something fragile, earnest, and unexpectedly human, and reminding millions that every legend — even one born under stadium lights and watched by a nation — begins not with thunder or applause, but with the courage to take one small step before anyone is watching

Sneak Peek: Baby Clydesdale Stars In Budweiser's 2026 Super Bowl Ad

Budweiser shared a sneak peek of its upcoming Super Bowl LX commercial with PEOPLE. The teaser “Foal” follows in close hoofstep with Budweiser’s first 2026 Super Bowl ad teaser, “Stable.”

In “Stable,” five horses from one of Budweiser’s iconic Clydesdale teams investigate the arrival of a mystery creature hiding in a bucket, while in “Foal,” just one horse is the star.

The new spot focuses on a baby Clydesdale, the titular “Foal,” getting used to walking confidently on its already lengthy legs.

“Foal” opens with the young horse excitedly and slightly awkwardly clambering through a stable until it reaches the structure’s open barn door. The animal peers out at the open grass that lies beyond the stable’s entrance. Then, the teaser suddenly cuts to the baby Clydesdale tearing through the field, galloping strongly across the grass they had been staring at seconds before, with no trace of the clumsiness from the beginning of the ad.

The video then cuts to a black card with the text “Look Who’s Coming.”

According to Budweiser, the foal featured in the teaser is one of the smallest Clydesdales to ever appear in a Budweiser Super Bowl commercial. The beer brand’s horses have appeared in 48 of Budweiser’s Super Bowl ads so far, with the first appearance in 1975, and “Foal” shows the animals aren’t sick of the spotlight.
