CHELTENHAM SHOCKED AS CAROLE MIDDLETON UNEXPECTEDLY FALLS IN FRONT OF ROYALTY — PRINCESS ANNE’S IMMEDIATE REACTION EMERGES IN PLUMBLE APPLAUSE The lively atmosphere at Cheltenham Festival unexpectedly became the center of attention when Carole Middleton, mother of Catherine, Princess of Wales, appeared excitedly in the royal viewing area. She attended the event alongside many senior members of the British Royal Family, including Queen Camilla and Anne, Princess Royal. Their intimate moments, particularly the warm embrace between Carole and Princess Anne, quickly drew the attention of those nearby, leading many to comment that Mrs. Middleton seemed quite familiar with royal circles. However, the excitement of the horse race unexpectedly led to a heart-stopping moment when Carole, while standing to cheer and leaning forward to watch the race, suddenly lost her balance and slipped near the steps. In a split second, Princess Anne immediately stepped forward, took her hand, and gently led her back to safety before things could get chaotic.

Carole’s Cheltenham cheer! Kate’s mother proves she’s truly in the Royal inner circle as she hugs Princess Anne on Ladies Day out with Queen Camilla

Carole Middleton proved that she’s firmly part of the Royal inner circle today as she hugged Princess Anne while cheering on the horses at Cheltenham.

Kate’s 71-year-old mother joined Queen Camilla, 78, and the Princess Royal, 75, for Ladies Day to take in the action on track after arriving arm-in-arm at the Gloucestershire course with Zara Tindall.

An amused Carole tried to politely avert her eyes as Mike Tindall planted a kiss on his wife’s lips as they attended day two of the festival.

Carole also held her own in the fashion stakes, carrying a chic Hermes ostrich skin bag with an eye-watering price tag of approximately £20,000, and she gave a nod to her daughter, wearing the same navy fedora the Princess of Wales wore to church at Sandringham in 2020.

Although Kate wasn’t present, Carole was still clearly at ease in the company of her daughter’s in-laws and was even seen throwing her arms around no-nonsense Princess Anne – who is not usually one for public displays of affection.

She also looked animated as she chatted to TV star James Nesbitt, while Queen Camilla watched the action on track with Clare Balding.

In a nod to Ladies Day, Camilla celebrated ‘trailblazing’ women in sport at the Festival, hailing the first black woman to win a jump race as ‘just brilliant’.
