Leanne Morgan Takes On Lainey Wilson on ‘Celebrity Family Feud’
ountry singer Lainey Wilson and comedian Leanne Morgan are in a feud- but it’s of the game show variety!
The two women and their families faced off for an episode of “Celebrity Family Feud.”
In an Instagram video, Leanne Morgan said, “OK, we are going to be on ‘Celebrity Family Feud.’ And we’re gonna play against little Lainey Wilson. She invited our family. Is that not darlin’?”
Leanne admitted, “We’re all scared to death.”
“Team Morgan” included not just Leanne but her husband, Chuck Morgan, and her three children, Charlie, Maggie and Tess Morgan.
Meanwhile, ACM Entertainer of the Year Lainey Wilson brought along her fiancé, Devlin “Duck” Hodges, her mother, Michelle Wilson, her sister, Janna Wilson-Sadler, and her brother-in-law, Taylor Sadler.
Leanne & Lainey Play for Beloved Charities
Lainey Wilson and Leanne Morgan were competing for a $25,000 prize- not for themselves but for their selected charity.
Lainey played for her “Heart Like A Truck Fund,” which supports “causes focused on changing lives for the better and celebrating triumph.”
Leanne played for the East Tennessee Children’s Hospital, the not-for-profit pediatric medical center in her hometown of Knoxville, Tennessee.
Leanne Morgan & Lainey Wilson Are Dear Friends
In her post about Lainey Wilson inviting her family to play “Family Feud,” Leanne Morgan referred to the “Heart Like a Truck” singer as her “dear friend.”
And indeed, when both women came to the podium for the first question in the game show, they each try to slap each other on the butt instead of shaking hands.
Their question? “Name a Britney Spears song that describes you in the bedroom?”
Lainey beat Leanne to the buzzer and gave the answer “Hit Me Baby One More Time,” which was on the board at #2.
Leanne then got a chance and gave the hilarious answer, “Toxic.”

Both Leanne Morgan and Lainey Wilson had a big night at the 2025 Emmy Awards Sunday, September 15.
Leanne presented the award for Best Reality Competition series, saying, “Oh my gosh, I’m so tickled to be here. This has been a dream of mine since I was a little bitty girl. And y’all are just as beautiful as I thought y’all were gonna be.”
And Lainey Wilson brought the star-studded crowd to tears performing “Go Rest High On That Mountain” with Vince Gill as the music bed for the Emmy Awards’ annual “In Memoriam” segment.
