IT’S OFFICIAL: LANDMAN SEASON 2 DROPS SOONER THAN ANYONE EXPECTED — AND THE CAST SHAKE-UP JUST CHANGED EVERYTHING 😱🔥 True to rumors, Landman season 2 has set a premiere date — and the reveal has the entire fandom “stopping their hearts” because it’s… too soon, too unexpected. But that’s just the first shock. Sources close to the show revealed that the crew is hiding a new character who appeared in the premiere episode, described as “someone who can upend the entire balance of power in the oil and gas industry.” Even a veteran actor from season 1 suddenly disappeared from the cast list, sparking rumors of a shocking opening scene that Paramount refused to confirm. A cast member only said one sentence that gave fans goosebumps: “If people knew who was really coming back… they would understand why we keep all our scripts locked in a safe.” Was it a character thought to be dead? An old villain? Or an A-list guest that the studio wants to keep under wraps until the last minute?

Nov. 12 (UPI) — Sam Elliott, Demi Moore and Billy Bob Thornton were among the Landman Season 2 cast members to attend the New York City premiere of the show’s second chapter Tuesday.

The event took place at Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall.

The contemporary western showcases oil industry work in West Texas and takes its inspiration from the Boomtown podcast created by Christian Wallace.

Elliott, who previously starred in Taylor Sheridan’s 1883, was tapped by the Landman co-creator to play Tommy Norris’ father. Tommy is portrayed by Thornton.

Elliot wore a black jacket over a graphic tee, while Thornton sported a black trench coat and hat to Tuesday’s screening.

Moore, who portrays Cami Miller in the series, wore a black-and-cream lace gown with a plunging neckline.

Kayla Wallace, who portrays Rebecca Falcone, showed off her baby bump at the premiere.

Andy Garcia, Ali Larter, Jacob Lofland, Michelle Randolph, Paulina Chavez and Com Feore also attended the event Tuesday.

The series also stars Mark Collie and James Jordan, and Season 2 is due on Paramount+ on Sunday.
