PRINCE HARRY HOPES FOR ROYAL REUNION WITH KING CHARLES — BUT ONE CONDITION ABOUT SECURITY COULD CHANGE EVERYTHING 💔👑 In a development that hints at a possible thaw in long-standing tensions, Prince Harry is said to be hoping that King Charles III will extend an invitation for him and his family to return to the UK for private time together, particularly so his children can reconnect with their grandfather, but the situation remains delicately balanced as one crucial condition continues to loom over any potential reunion. Behind the scenes, the idea of family time carries emotional weight, shaped by years of distance, public scrutiny, and unresolved differences, and while the prospect of bringing the next generation together suggests a softer, more hopeful chapter, the issue of security remains a defining factor that cannot be overlooked. The atmosphere surrounding the possibility feels cautious and uncertain, where even the smallest step forward is tied to deeper concerns, turning what could be a heartfelt reunion into a complex and carefully negotiated moment that reflects both longing and lingering divide.

REUNION HOPES

Harry ‘hopes King Charles will invite Sussexes to UK for family time’ with grandkids – but only if security is included

PRINCE Harry hopes to be invited to spend “family time” with the King this summer – but only if security is provided.

Insiders close to the Duke of Sussex, 41, claimed the dad-of-two would bring his children to see their grandfather at Sandringham, in Norfolk, if they were welcomed.

Harry quit royal life six years ago and his book Spare, published three years ago, enraged Charles because of harsh criticism of the Royal Family.

The pair have had only two brief meetings in as many years, but there has been reconciliation speculation in recent months.

Meanwhile Harry’s children Archie, six, and Lilibet, four, haven’t met their grandfather in nearly four years.

And Meghan, 44, has not been to the UK since the Queen’s funeral in 2022.

But a source close to the Duke has told The Times: “If he [Harry] was invited by the King, he would get a security package that automatically kicks in.

“He’d like an invite to Sandringham. Would he go? It would depend who was there. If the King was to say ‘Come up and spend some time with the family’ he’d love that.

“He always loves seeing his father and would love to see him as much as possible.”

Harry will be in the UK in July to mark one year until the Invictus Games in Birmingham and for a WellChild event.

And Charles is often in Sandringham at that time, although usually spends his summer break at Balmoral.

But security continues to be an issue for the Duke and his friend said there “is not a world in which” Harry would bring the kids over without more protection.

“If the King wants to see the kinds, all he needs to do is invite them over and it can happen,” the insider claimed.

A friend told The Times last year: “He’s not given up hope on bringing his family back to the UK.

“He wants to be able to show his children where he grew up. He wants them to know their family here.

“He really would like to come back to the UK much more.”

It comes as Home Office officials fear reinstating taxpayer-funded security for Prince Harry in case it sparks a public backlash.

The visit is to begin the one year countdown ahead to the Invictus Games in 2027.

The Royal and VIP Executive Committee is assessing whether to reinstate their security.

But a Home Office source said: “There is nervousness among certain members of the committee who fear a public backlash.

“The political side believe there is too much political risk while the police and security chiefs believe that he absolutely must have it due to the extant threat.”

While a full risk assessment is underway, it is understood a final decision has not yet been made.

This comes after Harry lost a legal challenge last year and he appeared at the High Court to dispute the levels of security he’s entitled to during time spent in the UK.

But sources say Charles and his youngest son appear keen to end their lengthy feud.

And next year’s UK return of Harry’s games for wounded personnel and veterans could be the perfect time to seal their reconciliation.

A source said previously: “Prince Harry desperately wants Charles at Invictus — and he wants him to open the games alongside him.

“Harry wants it to happen both for the games, and for their relationship. It’s his dream to have his father by his side.”
