“THEY PLAYED PIANO WHILE I DANCED BAREFOOT.” — KATE MIDDLETON’S UNEXPECTED TEMPLE MOMENT WITH HER CHILDREN CAPTURES HEARTS A rare candid moment of Catherine, Princess of Wales, is drawing attention after she shared a special memory with her children during a visit to a Hindu temple. In the tranquil and sacred space of the temple, Kate recounted that her children — Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis — unexpectedly sat down at the piano in the temple’s common area and began playing gentle melodies. The atmosphere was described as incredibly peaceful, a stark contrast to the formal royal ceremonies the family usually attends. But the moment that truly captured everyone’s attention was when Kate, still barefoot as per temple etiquette, gently stepped out onto the stone courtyard and began moving naturally to the rhythm of the music. According to eyewitness accounts, she paused mid-sentence when she noticed her children looking at her with a mixture of surprise and delight, then chuckled before whispering something to them that caused all three children to immediately stop playing the piano.

Kate Middleton and Prince William have some tiny dancers at home!

On March 5, Princess Kate spoke about her children’s love of dance during her visit to Leicester. She visited the city to celebrate the culture, community and heritage of the British Indian community there, following the Hindu festival of Holi on March 4.

The Princess of Wales, 44, was treated to a Bollywood dance performance at The Aakash Odedra Company and said that her three children — Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 7 — would be impressed with the group’s moves.

“You must be super fit because it’s super energetic,” Princess Kate said after seeing the routine, the Daily Mail reported. “My children would love that; they love their dancing. Louis would love your dance routine.”

Kate’s also visited Shreeji Dham Haveli, a Hindu Temple serving the local Vaishnav community, where she heard how the Haveli recently celebrated Holi and how the festival commemorates the start of spring, spiritual renewal and community connection.

The Daily Mail reported that it was Kate’s first official visit to a Hindu temple in Britain, and she respected protocol by removing her shoes there.

At the temple, Princess Kate jumped at the chance to join a traditional ladies’ dance during a religious ceremony. The royal was game when invited to participate and said, “Oh, go on then,” joining the circle of women as she went barefoot.

“It was absolutely amazing,” said Mayur Kachela, a member of the temple’s executive committee who showed Kate around.

“She was really acknowledging what we’re doing here, and really engaged. This is part of our faith, and it was very nice that she acknowledged what we’re doing,” he told the outlet.

This isn’t the first time that Princess Kate has shown off her dance moves on a royal engagement, but the passion is strong at home. The couple has previously spoken about Princess Charlotte’s love of dance and penchant for ballet and tap, while their youngest, Prince Louis, has spontaneously shown off his dance moves during royal outings before.

Prince William’s late mother, Princess Diana, famously had a passion for dance, an interest that one of Prince Harry’s children may have also inherited.

On Valentine’s Day, Meghan Markle posted a photo of Prince Harry holding their daughter, Princess Lilibet, 4, who adorably sported a pink leotard dress with matching tights.

“These two + Archie = my forever Valentines,” she captioned the snap, shouting out son Prince Archie, 6.
