Screams echo through the restroom as the fight intensifies, with several bystanders trying to step back while others pull out phones. Witnesses say the confrontation may have started after a heated comment involving someone’s daughter, but what began as an argument quickly escalated into a chaotic clash that security eventually rushed in to break up. A one minute video captured the fracas as around six women grappled and shouted and swore at each other.

They pulled hair and appeared to butt heads before collapsing in a heap on the floor of the loos behind the famous Guinness Village stage.

A woman in a checked jacket is seen pulling a redhead, dressed in a miniskirt and boots, down to the floor by her hair.

She is then seen raining punches down on her head, shouting “Get your f* ginger ****”, as a horrified onlooker gasps: “Oh my god.”

Another woman standing by is then seen kicking at her with her boots.

Security rushed to the toilets where two of the women had locked themselves in a cubicle.

They were then escorted from the premises.

The redhead woman was able to remain and was seen looking bedraggled and shocked as she talked to pals nearby afterwards.

An estate agent who witnessed the brawl told The Sun: “I was at the Guinness stage having a little boogie. I went to the loo and walked in and this big fight started.

“There was lots of girls and they were pulling hair and kicking.

“They got pushed into the door of one of the loos and then they pulled back and then the lady in the check, she was pulling this younger girl with ginger hair, she got hold of her and dragged her to the floor and was punching her.

“Someone called the security and they came in and dragged the girls out of the loos and they got escorted out.

“The older woman kept going on about something about her daughter.

“I think the ginger one had said something to her daughter, and then the one in the check stepped in for her daughter and it kicked off. Her and her daughter got taken out.

The fight broke out around 3pm as Peter Crouch prepared to go into the Guinness Village and give out 1,000 free pints after losing a bet with Paddy Power.

The Jockey Club, which operates the course, has been approached for comment.

A spokesperson for Cheltenham Racecourse said: “When it comes to any form of antisocial behaviour we operate a strict zero-tolerance policy.

“This was an isolated incident involving a small number of racegoers which was dealt with quickly by our security team and resulted in two racegoers being ejected from the racecourse.”

This comes as racegoers downed bottles of bubbly celebrating the return of Ladies Day at the Cheltenham Festival for the first time in seven years.

Queen Camilla had difficulty reigning it in as she gasped, winced and cheered while watching the action unfold.

Princess Kate’s mum Carole Middleton was also seen laughing with Camilla and suited-and-booted actor Nesbitt, and at one point even embraced Anne.

Other stars were also in attendance.

Zara Tindall returned for a second day on the trot, and appeared in high spirits alongside Carole and Camilla.

Cheltenham fanatic Georgia Toffolo, married to Brewdog founder James Watt, was also back for a second day of racing.

Meanwhile, TV host Josie Gibson looked chic in a Holland Cooper coat and matching hat.

And, darts legend Luke Littler bagged another Cheltenham winner after sharing a snap of a £64,000 lucky bet.

He hung out with the likes of Luke Humphries, Nathan Aspinall and TV star Jeremy Kyle.
