ADOR Parts Ways With Danielle as Hanni Reaffirms Commitment, Talks Continue With Minji

ADOR has issued a major update regarding the ongoing internal dispute involving NewJeans, confirming the termination of Danielle’s exclusive contract while announcing that Hanni has chosen to remain with the company. Negotiations with Minji, meanwhile, are still in progress.
According to ADOR, Hanni recently returned to South Korea accompanied by her family, where she engaged in extended and in-depth discussions with company executives. During these meetings, both sides revisited the events that led to the dispute and reassessed the situation from a more objective standpoint. Following what ADOR described as a “sincere and thorough conversation,” Hanni decided to respect the court’s ruling and continue fulfilling her contractual obligations with the agency.
The company also revealed that Minji is currently in active dialogue with ADOR. Discussions are ongoing, with the stated goal of reaching mutual understanding and resolving remaining points of contention. ADOR emphasized that it remains hopeful a constructive outcome can be achieved through continued communication.

In contrast, ADOR confirmed that it has formally terminated Danielle’s exclusive contract. The agency stated that, after internal review, it determined Danielle could no longer continue her activities under ADOR as a NewJeans member and artist. Danielle was officially notified of the contract termination on the same day as the announcement.
ADOR further disclosed plans to pursue legal action against Danielle’s family and former ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin. The company alleges that their actions played a significant role in triggering the dispute and contributed to delays in NewJeans’ planned comeback.
During discussions with the members, ADOR said it became aware that they had been exposed to “false and biased information” over an extended period. The company believes this misinformation led to deep misunderstandings about ADOR’s intentions and operations, ultimately escalating the conflict. Both ADOR and the remaining artists reportedly agreed that resolving these misunderstandings based on verified facts will take time but is essential to restoring trust among fans and the general public.
ADOR added that the parties have also agreed to hold future discussions to address the various controversies that arose throughout the dispute. Details regarding the timing and format of these conversations are still under consideration.
Concluding the statement, ADOR reaffirmed its commitment to resolving the situation as amicably as possible and expressed its intention to prioritize a swift and stable return of NewJeans to their fans.
