Close Associate Speaks Out After Park Bom Controversy, Denies Rumors of Conflict Within 2NE1
A person described as one of the closest individuals to Park Bom has stepped forward to dispute the claims made in a recent letter that sparked widespread speculation among fans.
Speaking to Star News, the individual — referred to as “A” — insisted that the statements written by the former 2NE1 vocalist were not factual.
“What Park Bom wrote in that letter is not true. It’s a completely unfounded story,” A said. “There has never been any conflict between the members of 2NE1.”
According to the source, the public has only seen fragments of the situation through media reports, which may have fueled speculation about past tensions within the group.
“Fans and the public are naturally left wondering if something like that might have happened before,” A explained. “But there is simply no basis for those assumptions.”
The insider also strongly denied rumors surrounding alleged drug use, emphasizing that such claims are entirely false.
“She has never used drugs. She mostly stays at home, and nothing like that has ever happened,” the person stated.
A further suggested that the singer’s comments may have been made impulsively while she was experiencing emotional distress. In the past, Park Bom has openly shared that she lives with Attention Deficit Disorder, commonly known as ADD.
Meanwhile, speculation about social media activity among the group’s members has also been clarified. Rumors circulated that CL had unfollowed her fellow members, but A explained that this was misleading because the artist had not been following anyone in the first place.
However, there has been at least one confirmed change online. Sandara Park reportedly unfollowed Park Bom following the controversy, although she later posted an Instagram story expressing hope that Bom was doing well.
As of now, Minzy remains the only former 2NE1 member still following Park Bom on social media. Meanwhile, the singer herself has reportedly unfollowed everyone on her account — with one notable exception: Lee Min Ho.
