Recently, a debate has been sparked online as netizens discuss the racism faced by Lisa, and many idols have been accused of poor treatment towards the idol, triggering major backlash as fans defend them.

Amid the discourse, Jisoo has been the latest victim of accusations as a viral post with over 67,000 likes accused the idol of being racist due to saying Lisa has “Monkey” as a nickname.

 

Yet, fans came to defend Jisoo and shared the desire to report the tweet to BLISSOO because the clip was taken out of context, as the idol explained the nickname was due to Lisa using the monkey emoji often, rather than due to the skin color, as the viral tweet alluded to.
