On March 4th, Rosé (BLACKPINK) arrived at Paris Fashion Week, attending the Saint Laurent show to launch their new collection. Besides her stunning visuals, the BLACKPINK member’s behavior also received significant attention when a moment of her openly showing annoyance with an event staff member went viral on social media.

Accordingly, Rosé was seen frowning and complaining about something to a male Saint Laurent staff member before leaving. The APT. singer’s facial expression was described as very tense, irritated, and clearly dissatisfied.

Rosé’s real name is Park Chaeyoung (Roseanne Park), born on February 11, 1997, in Auckland, New Zealand, and raised in Melbourne, Australia. She holds dual Korean-New Zealand citizenship and is the youngest daughter in a Korean-Australian family with an older sister. From a young age, Rosé was passionate about music, singing in church choirs and learning guitar and piano, but her family initially didn’t support her pursuing a professional career. In 2012, she auditioned for YG Entertainment in Australia, beating over 700 other contestants to win first place and moving to South Korea as a trainee for four years.

The album sold over 448,000 copies in its first week, a record for a Korean female solo artist at the time.

After leaving YG Entertainment to pursue a solo career (but retaining her group contract), she signed with THE BLACK LABEL and Atlantic Records. In 2024, Rosé exploded onto the scene with the global mega-hit “APT.,” a collaboration with Bruno Mars. The song topped numerous charts worldwide, reached the top 3 in the US and UK, broke YouTube view records, and received 3 Grammy nominations. Rosé’s debut studio album, “Rosie” (December 2024), was a major personal milestone for her. She participated in songwriting for the entire album, achieving the highest ranking for a Korean female solo artist on the Billboard and UK charts.

In addition, she is an ambassador for many luxury brands and was honored by TC Candle as “The Most Beautiful Face in the World in 2025.” Rosé has been involved in numerous dating rumors but has remained silent on them.
