The 86-year-old action star experienced the health scare on the island in the last 24 hours, TMZ reported on Thursday, March 19.

Despite the health scare, the former Walker, Texas Ranger star remains in “good spirits,” according to the report.

Additionally, a friend of Norris’s was on the phone with the renowned martial artist on Wednesday, per TMZ. At the time, Norris was on the island “training,” and was “cracking jokes” during the call.

Norris celebrated his 86th birthday on March 10. He took to Instagram that day to share that he doesn’t age. “I level up,” his caption read.

“I’m 86 today! Nothing like some playful action on a sunny day to make you feel young. I’m grateful for another year, good health and the chance to keep doing what I love. Thank you all for being the best fans in the world. Your support through the years has meant more to me than you’ll ever know,” he wrote.
