The Enola Holmes star also shared that she and her husband, who is the son of rocker Jon Bon Jovi, are splitting their parenting duties equally.
“We are 50-50 on everything. That’s why I’m so grateful to have partnered with him in this life — he is just the most amazing dad,” she said.
Elsewhere in the article, Brown said that she hopes to have a big family in her future.
“I really want a big family — I’m one of four; he’s one of four,” she explained of her husband. “I don’t see having your own child, you know, as really any different [than] adopting.”
On Aug. 21, Brown and Bongiovi shared they’d welcomed their first baby together via adoption, announcing the news on Instagram.
“This summer we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption. We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy,” they wrote. “And then there were 3.”

After news broke that Brown had expanded her family, a source told PEOPLE that she often talked about wanting to grow her family at a young age — even before she married Bongiovi in May 2024.
“She’s so young, but so focused. And she has the biggest heart,” a source told PEOPLE. “There’s no doubt that she’s a great mom. Pretty much everything she sets her mind to, she crushes.”
“And they have really worked on creating this special family life in Georgia. She loves her farm — it’s going to be such a special place for the baby to grow up,” the insider continued. “Even before they were married, she often spoke about her wish to be a young mom. And Jake was always on the same page. They’re in it together.”
