Maya Hawke’s Famous Parents Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke Come Together for Her Wintry N.Y.C. Wedding

Maya Hawke had her famous parents by her side on her wedding day.
The actress, 27, married Christian Lee Hutson during a surprise Valentine’s Day wedding on Saturday, Feb. 14, when she was joined by her mom, Uma Thurman, and dad, Ethan Hawke.
The former pair, who split in 2005, also share a son, Levon Roan Thurman-Hawke, who was also in attendance during his older sister’s wedding day.
Maya and Hutson, 35, kept things classic in a white wedding dress with an oversized and feathery winter coat and a classic tuxedo, respectively, while mother of the bride Thurman, 55, paired a light blue gown with matching shoes. For his part, Ethan, also 55, wore an all-black ensemble.

Hutson confirmed that Maya was his fiancée while speaking with SoCal Sound Session in February of last year.
The comments came two months before Maya was then photographed in April, flashing a diamond ring on her wedding finger while talking on the phone in Manhattan.
Many of Maya’s Stranger Things castmates attended her nuptials on Feb. 14, including Natalia Dyer and Joe Keery.
Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin and Sadie Sink were also there to support Maya and Hutson on their special day.

Maya starred in campaigns for AllSaints and Calvin Klein in 2016 and 2017, before she moved into acting, like her parents, through PBS’ 2017 miniseries adaptation of Louisa May Alcott’s classic novel, Little Women.
More came in the years to follow — including a part in Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood — and Maya’s breakout role was through her standout performance as quirky character Robin in Stranger Things. (The show just aired its series finale.)
Maya has spoken in the past about her famous parents and how their acting careers influenced her own, including in a profile with Elle, when she recalled watching them on set while she was growing up, specifically.
She has also worked alongside both Ethan and Thurman over the years. Maya told Ryan Seacrest during an August 2022 episode of Live with Kelly and Ryan, “I love working with both of them.”
“They’re really awesome,” she added. “They’re just amazing at their job.”
