Windswept romance is the theme of the night at the UK premiere of Emerald Fennell’s ‘Wuthering Heights’ as Jacob Elordi was spotted shielding Margot Robbie from the rain.

As London delivers a proper gothic downpour, Elordi, who plays the brooding Heathcliff, was spotted stepping in close, protecting Robbie from the worst of the drizzle as they made their way along the red carpet. Consider it chivalry, consider it method acting – either way, Brontë would absolutely approve.

The pair arrived at Odeon Luxe Leicester Square to a crowd of cheering fans, with rain-slicked pavements and foggy skies providing the most on-theme backdrop imaginable. Robbie, who stars as Cathy, appeared unfazed by the weather, while Elordi leaned fully into his leading-man moment — tall, attentive, and very much serving tortured-romantic hero.

It was a small gesture, but one that we’re certain will throw the internet into meltdown, as it perfectly captures the stormy passion at the heart of Wuthering Heights.
