Noah Schnapp is sharing what being the godfather to Millie Bobby Brown’s baby girl means to him.

The Stranger Things star, 21, recently made an appearance on The View, where he talked about the final season of his hit show, the evolution of his character and his relationship with his costar, also 21. During the conversation, he opened up about what being the godfather to his longtime friend’s newborn daughter means to him. Brown shares her daughter her husband, Jake Bongiovi.

“Oh, it’s like, such an honor. It’s crazy because we’ve grown up together and we’d talk. When we were little kids, she was like, ‘When I have a kid, you’re definitely going to be the godfather to my kid,’ ” he recalled. “Then we grew up, she had a kid, and like, now I am.”

The Electric State star welcomed her daughter with her husband, 23, via adoption, announcing the news on Instagram, on Thursday, Aug. 21.

“This summer we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption. We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy,” she wrote in the post. “And then there were 3.”

During the red carpet premiere of the last season of Stranger Things, the actress, 21, spoke with Entertainment Tonight and revealed that her costar and real-life best friend Schnapp is actually her baby daughter’s godfather.

“Sadie is very, very maternal but Noah’s her godfather,” Brown said of Sadie Sink and Schnapp. “They all turn into the most gooey, soft versions of themselves [and] their baby voice comes out when they’re around her.”

Schnapp also spoke with the outlet and shared just how excited he is to see his friend step into this new era.

“Aw, it’s honestly the greatest joy,” he said. “It’s actually crazy to me to see her grow from such a wide-eyed, innocent young, silly girl, and now she’s a mom and married. And I’m just so proud of her.”

The new mom is keeping her baby girl out of the spotlight, but she’s never too far away from her at any given moment. Recently, her daughter crashed her recent Stranger Things interview with Schnapp.

While doing the kitten interview with BuzzFeed, the actress’ baby girl can be heard crying in the background.

“That’s my child,” Brown said, petting one of the kittens alongside her and Schnapp. “That’s my kitten.”
