Former NFL offensive lineman Matt Kalil has filed a lawsuit against his ex-wife, model and influencer Haley Kalil, accusing her of invasion of privacy after public comments she made about the reasons for their divorce sparked widespread attention and online harassment.

According to the lawsuit, Haley Kalil publicly claimed earlier this year that the couple’s marriage ended due to the size of Matt Kalil’s genitalia, remarks she made during a livestream viewed by thousands. During the broadcast, she allegedly described Kalil in graphic and mocking terms, comparing him to “two cans of Coke, maybe even a third,” a statement that quickly circulated across social media platforms.
Matt Kalil argues in court filings that the comments were deeply personal, humiliating, and unrelated to any legitimate public interest, and that they exposed him and his family to relentless ridicule and harassment. He claims the remarks went far beyond humor, crossing into a violation of his right to privacy as a private individual following his retirement from professional football.
The lawsuit states that Kalil had intentionally stepped away from public life after leaving the NFL and that his ex-wife’s statements destroyed any chance of living quietly, instead pulling him back into the public spotlight for reasons he describes as “demeaning and invasive.”
Kalil is seeking a jury trial and is requesting damages exceeding $75,000, citing emotional distress, reputational harm, and ongoing harassment resulting from the statements. The complaint asserts multiple legal grounds, all tied to what Kalil describes as the unauthorized public disclosure of intimate details.
Haley Kalil has not publicly responded to the lawsuit as of publication.
The case now places renewed attention on the legal boundaries between public commentary, online influence, and personal privacy — particularly when former public figures attempt to step away from the spotlight.
