As I’m sure you’ve seen, the third and final season of Euphoria finally hit our screens on Sunday night, and boy, has it caused a stir.

In fact, before the first episode even aired, the show — particularly its creator Sam Levinson — was under fire after a new trailer showed Sydney Sweeney’s character, Cassie, filming X-rated content while dressed as a baby.

Then, when the premiere dropped, it was dubbed “straight up fetish porn” by disappointed — and grossed out — viewers. And if you don’t have the stomach to watch it for yourself, here is a recap of the most shocking, gross, and downright disturbing moments in the order that they appeared:
1. So, Season 3 of Euphoria picks up five years after the events of the Season 2 finale, and it starts by explaining that Zendaya’s character, Rue, is now a drug mule for antagonist Laurie. In order to pay off her excessive debt to Laurie, Rue has to smuggle fentanyl into the United States from Mexico — and to do so, she has to swallow a ton of lubed-up balloons full of the drug:
A far-too-lengthy montage shows Rue and her friend Faye, played by Chloe Cherry, repeatedly gagging, dribbling, and coming close to vomiting as they force the balls of drugs down their throats in a truly stomach-turning scene:
3. Meanwhile, Rue is seen being rushed upstairs to the bathroom as she tries to refrain from pooping, eventually relieving herself into a strainer:
4. Moving on to Cassie, who is exploring becoming an OnlyFans creator in this episode. The first shot of her this season sees her dressed as a dog, with an unfortunately-colored tail between her legs, continuing the weird poop theme in this show:
5. She is then shown lapping water from a bowl like a dog:
6. And after her fiancé, Nate Jacobs, played by Jacob Elordi, brands her a “prostitute,” they engage in some uncomfortable role play. Aggressively pulling Cassie toward him by her leash, he says: “You’ve been a bad, bad dog,” to which she awkwardly replies: “Woof woof.”
7. Interestingly, Hunter Schafer does not appear as Jules in this episode of the season, but we are told that she is now working as a “sugar baby,” which Maddy [Alexa Demie] translates to “a hooker,” which suggests that there are more explicit storylines to come:
8. Oh, and as if all of this wasn’t enough, Sam Levinson also threw in a graphic shot of a chicken being beheaded for no real reason:
9. But back to teasing the explicit storylines up ahead, Rue is shown becoming truly entranced by a strip club that she does a drug drop-off at, where the owner proudly tells her: “I collect the most valuable resource on God’s green earth… I’m in the business of pussy.”
