I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here star Angry Ginge was pictured leaving Australia as he flies home to Manchester following his milestone win. The 24-year-old TikTok sensation made history during his time in the jungle, after his win declared him the first ever social media star to be crowned King of the Jungle.

The Twitch streamer made it all the way to the final after three weeks Down Under in the ITV jungle, and was joined by former EastEnders actress Shona McGarty and Celebs Go Dating star Tom Read Wilson. It’s been confirmed that Ginge took more than half of the vote when he was crowned winner of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! 2025.

The new king of the jungle, whose real name is Morgan Burtwistle, received 53 per cent of the vote in the final three, before achieving 65 per cent in the final two with runner-up Tom, getting 35 per cent. Tom scored a quarter of the vote in the final three, with actress Shona McGarty, who placed third, getting 22 per cent.

After winning, Ginge told presenters Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly: “I feel amazing. Honestly, (it is a) dream come true. I did not think I’d go all this way, never mind win, so thank you to everyone who voted.”

Now, Ginge will return back home to Manchester as he was pictured wearing his United shirt in Brisbane Airport – a place he arrived in a month ago with no idea he’d become the nation’s favourite. The star was seen with his jungle crown still attached to his head – despite previous winners saying they were forced to give theirs back.

Taking to his Instagram stories while at the airport, Ginge was seen laughing with Emmerdale star Lisa Riley whom he formed a close bond with during their time together in the jungle.

Lisa’s partner of 11 years, Al, was pushing a trolley jam-packed with her various suitcases as the celebrity duo laughed at how many sunglasses she has stored away in her handbag.

With him soon to be back on UK ground, Ginge previously shared his plans for when he gets back home. He said: “Probably gonna have a curry with my nana, see some friends, adjust back to normality and then straight on Twitch and live streaming.”

When asked how being in the jungle as changed him, the star responded: “I think it has matured me into more of a family man, for example. I take it for granted when we go for meals with family, I’d always be on my phone and stuff like that.

“I’ve just spent three weeks without it, so I’ll make sure whenever I go for a meal I’m hardly on my phone. I’ll make more effort to go and see the family, friends and I’m actually gonna cut down on fizzy drinks.”
