Woman Gets Badly Injured During The South American Rally

One of those people was a woman who was on a rock with her young daughter. She narrowly got her and her child out of the way before almost certain death from the vehicle headed their way.

Unfortunately, trying to get out of the way could not prepare her for the fall off the rock. Her body gave way under her weight, and her right leg suffered the consequences. She immediately grabbed her injured leg, where her foot was pointing the wrong way. As expected, she screamed out in horror as someone came over to her aid.

Given the magnitude of what happened, the organization decided to suspend the competition permanently. They decided to prioritize safety and support the victims in an event that brings grief to South American motorsport.

The FIA released a statement on social media.

“The organization expresses its deepest condolences for what happened and stands with the family and loved ones during this difficult time,” the statement shared with the media concludes.

According to local media outlet Cadena 3, the 25-year-old man suffered multiple injuries and was in critical condition before he died.
