My Life With the Walter Boys already has a fourth season in the works.

The hit Netflix series, which is loosely adapted from the best-selling book series of the same name by Ali Novak, has been renewed for season 4 ahead of the season 3 premiere on Aug. 6. In May 2026, Netflix announced that the fourth installment would hit the streamer sometime in 2027.

My Life With the Walter Boys stars Nikki Rodriguez as Jackie Howard, a teenager formerly living in New York City who moves to a small town in Colorado after a tragic accident changes her life forever. She begins to live with her godparents, George (Marc Blucas) and Katherine Walter (Sarah Rafferty), and their slew of children.

Along the way, Jackie starts to develop feelings for two of the brothers, Cole (Noah LaLonde) and Alex (Ashby Gentry), which results in a messy love triangle. Season 3 picked up from the dramatic season 2 finale, and season 4 will likely follow suit.

Will there be a My Life With the Walter Boys season 4?

Before season 3 of My Life With the Walter Boys came out on Netflix, the streamer announced the series had been renewed for season 4.

“I know I speak for the writers, the cast, and the crew when I say that it is beyond exciting to be returning to the world of Silver Falls for a fourth season,” showrunner and executive producer Melanie Halsall told Tudum at the time of the renewal in May 2026. “We are all incredibly grateful and are thrilled to dive in.”

Halsall added, “Our story’s about love and romance and love triangles and all those teenage trials and tribulations around those things, and we’re not going to divert from those — so much, much more of that to come in Season 4.”

She teased that she can’t wait to share it “with our amazing audience, who have shown so much love for this show.”

What will My Life With the Walter Boys season 4 be about?

Season 3 continued to follow the Walter family and Jackie after a season 2 finale cliffhanger showed Jackie and Cole confess they’re in love with each other, as Alex overhears.

“We’ve got a lot of things to do,” Halsall told Tudum of season 3 in July 2026. “I love the teenage stories and what we do with those characters. But I think we have a lot of potential to tell stories that are intergenerational. I’d love to be able to do more of that in Season 3.”

Another cliffhanger ending came for season 3, featuring one character’s life hanging in the balance and Jackie once again completely at a loss for what to do in her love life. Season 4 will most likely fill viewers in on that character’s fate and see Jackie get closer to choosing between Alex and Cole.

Which cast members are returning for My Life With the Walter Boys season 4?

The returning and new cast members for season 4 of My Life With the Walter Boys have not been officially released.

However, several of the core stars and Walter family members are expected to return — including Rodriguez as Jackie, Gentry as Alex, LaLonde as Cole, Blucas as George and Rafferty as Katherine.

The Walter family is comprised of a total of eight children, played by LaLonde, Gentry, Corey Fogelmanis, Connor Stanhope, Johnny Link, Alix West Lefler, Dean Petriw and Lennix James. In addition to the biological kids, the Walters also raise two of their nephews, played by Isaac Arellanes and Myles Perez.

Other recurring cast members include Mya Lowe, Jaylan Evans, Ellie O’Brien, Ashley Holliday, Alisha Newton and Alex Quijano, among others.

Meanwhile, season 3 introduced a few new additions. Erin Karpluk joined the cast as patriarch George’s sister, who is the mother of the two cousins living with the Walters. Naveen Paddock plays Jackie’s uncle’s charming new intern, and Chad Rook plays a drag racer.

My Life With the Walter Boys season 4 will be released on Netflix sometime in 2027.

While the streamer hasn’t shared an official premiere date, the past two seasons have dropped in August; the first premiered in December 2023.
