Before her success with Wednesday, Emma Myers endured terrible years of being bullied, so lonely that she only dared to pour out her feelings in her diary. Those tear-stained pages were the only thing she could cling to to keep from falling. When fame came, Emma thought she had left the past behind, but one day, a letter written from an old diary was suddenly leaked online. The content was brief, shaky, but so haunting that it made readers shudder. Emma sobbed when reporters asked, only saying: “That’s not all.” So what else in her dark past has not been exposed. Will it be a new shock that makes fans look at Emma with different eyes?

Wednesday season two drops on Netflix on August 6 and the chilling trailer revealed Wednesday Addams (played by Jenna Ortega) having visions of Enid Sinclair’s demise.

The preview has ignited fascinating fan theories, with actress Emma Myers taking center stage in the speculation. One theory suggests a dramatic reunion between Wednesday and one of her adversaries.

The 23 year old American performer launched her career as a youngster in 2010 with an appearance on The Glades. Born in Florida as the middle child of three sisters, she was educated at home during her formative years and never experienced conventional schooling.

During her middle school period, she developed a deep love for emo and alternative music acts like Twenty One Pilots, Panic at the Disco, and Fall Out Boy, which became central to her personal identity.

In an interview with Teen Vogue, she revealed that her peers couldn’t relate to her passionate interest in the subculture, reports the Mirror.

“I was kind of an outsider because I was into things more than the normal kid would be,” she remembered. “And I got bullied for it.”

Today, she has a more mature perspective on those experiences, explaining: “Some people can’t let go of the fact that people enjoy things that make them happy.”

She began her professional acting journey at 16 and went on to appear in A Taste of Christmas and Girl in the Basement.

Her career-defining moment came when she landed the role of the delayed-blooming werewolf Enid in Netflix’s Wednesday, though she has secured several other Netflix projects since then. She graced the screen in the comedy flick Family Switch, sharing the spotlight with Jennifer Garner, Ed Helms, and Brady Noon, and took on the lead role in A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder, which is currently streaming on Netflix and has garnered worldwide attention.

Despite portraying Wednesday’s best friend in Netflix’s rendition of the Addams Family, she confessed that she identifies more with Wednesday herself.

In a chat with Elite Daily, she shared: “I would consider myself more a Wednesday because I am very introverted and I don’t have a lot of energy.

“Enid’s very, very energetic and loves talking to people, while I, on the other hand, get really nervous.”
