“DON’T LET ANYONE GET TOO CLOSE” — MEGHAN MARKLE’S ALLEGED UK RETURN DEMANDS SPARK ROYAL FIRESTORM BEFORE INVICTUS GAMES Meghan Markle is at the center of fresh royal drama after reports claimed she has laid out a stunning list of conditions for a possible UK return with Prince Harry for the Invictus Games buildup. The alleged requests include locked-down hotel floors, heavy security, luxury cars, private staff, and strict rules for anyone interacting with her. But the detail now causing the biggest reaction is one reported demand involving how staff must behave around her — a claim critics say goes against the image the late Queen once valued most. Meghan’s team has not publicly confirmed the allegations.

Harry Just Got 1 Step Closer to Moving Back to the UK After Meghan Called It a ‘Problem’ For Them to Return

When Prince Harry and Meghan Markle left the British royal family and moved to the US, they likely didn’t imagine not coming back to the UK. Prince Harry lived his entire life in the UK before, and though he is no longer a working royal, he still has deep ties to the country he was born in. Add to that his father, King Charles’ illness, and the recent reports that the two are closer to reconciliation than ever, and it’s fair to wonder if Harry could or would want to move back to the UK.

Recent reports indicate the Prince is “very likely” to enroll his children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, in a UK school, despite his wife’s objections to the idea. This is reportedly related to the fact that he wants to keep the door open for his kids to stay in the UK if they so wish.

Grant Harrold, former royal butler to King Charles, said that Harry is “quite keen” for his children to experience British schooling in an interview with Study Dog, per Hello! “It’s very likely and completely possible,” he said. But of course, that might all depend on how those reconciliation talks go.

“If they have their younger education in America, I’m sure their father will be quite keen to have a bit of a British education,” he added. “But then it depends on how the relationship is with the rest of the family when the time comes.”Why Meghan Markle Could Be Back in the U.K. Very Soon - PureWow

Markle, however, had previously said in a 2022 interview with The Cut, that she would not want Archie to go to school in the UK, as she wouldn’t be able to drop him off and pick him up at school without having to deal with paparazzi. “Sorry,” Meghan said, per Hello! “I have a problem with that. That doesn’t make me obsessed with privacy. That makes me a strong and good parent protecting my child.”

This comes after last month, the Guardian reported that Prince Harry wanted his kids to have the opportunity to become working royals in the future if they wanted. The outlet said, “Prince Harry wants to keep the HRH [His/Her Royal Highness] titles for his children so that when they grow older, they can decide for themselves whether they want to become working royals, or stay out of public life.”Meghan Markle to visit Britain with Harry for first time in four years | The Standard

When that was reported, however, The Daily Beast reported that a source close to Prince William dismissed the idea. “William obviously isn’t going to hire Archie and Lilibet,” the source said. “This is just trolling on the part of Harry and Meghan. … The idea that somehow having a vestigial HRH as a baby later entitles you to be a working royal is beyond parody, even for them.”

All of these reports happened before Prince Harry and King Charles’ aides met last week in what is believed to be the first step to resolve the feud between them. “There’s a long road ahead, but a channel of communication is now open for the first time in years,” said a source. “There was no formal agenda, just casual drinks. There were things both sides wanted to talk about.”Meghan Markle, Prince Harry back in UK for final royal appearances | Fox Business

If there can really be a reconciliation, that might make the chances of Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet attending school in the UK grow exponentially higher. For now, we will just have to wait and see.
