Formula 1 driver Lando Norris reportedly messaged a mystery Dutch woman and invited her on a McDonalds date following his shock split from girlfriend Luisinha Oliveira.

The sportsman revealed he had called things off from Portuguese model Luisinha on Thursday – a year into their romance.

However, it appears as though Lando may have already moved on from his romance as he’s allegedly set his sights on a new lady, reportedly telling her: ‘I’m single now’.

According to The Sun, leaked messages from his Instagram account saw the McLaren driver tell the woman: ‘Ordering McDonald’s come join.’

The publication reports that Lando invited the beauty to join him for fast food at his hotel, with the woman informing him that they had previously met at 2021’s Zandvoort race.

When Lando’s flirty exchange was later leaked online, he is said to have hastily contacted the woman, privately begging her: ‘please delete them haha’.

A short time later, the star announced the end of his relationship with Luisinha, though a source close to Lando clarified with The Sun that he had messaged the other woman after their split.

MailOnline have contacted Lando’s representatives for comment.

Lando and Luisinha confirmed they were dating back in January after months of speculation, with Lando calling the beauty, also 22, his ‘sunshine in a sweet Instagram post.

Fellow racing driver Carlos Sainz Jr responded at the time: ‘It’s official’.

The split comes just two weeks after the couple were pictured enjoying a romantic boat trip in Ibiza in which they looked very much in love.

Lando revealed the pair had decided to separate with a post on social media on Thursday.

He wrote: ‘Hello everyone. After time and consideration, Luisa and myself have mutually decided to end our relationship but remain good friends.
