Wednesday Season 3: Everything to know about the third chapter of Jenna Ortega & Emma Myers’ horror comedy series
*SPOILERS ALERT*
In Wednesday Season 2’s finale, Enid Sinclair (Emma Myers) transforms into her alpha werewolf state — despite knowing that she’ll be unable to transform into her human form — to save Wednesday, before disappearing into the night.
A determined Wednesday is joined by Uncle Fester Addams as she speeds off to find her best friend, who is confirmed to be spotted in Canada by Agnes DeMille (Evie Templeton). “Enid is going to be stuck as a werewolf, having some crazy adventures up in Canada. But she’s going on a journey to find how to turn back into a human,” Myers revealed to Netflix’s Tudum.
The season finale also revealed that the mysterious Aunt Ophelia is alive, locked away in Grandmama Hester Frump’s (Joanna Lumley) mansion, scrawling “Wednesday must die” on the wall. “The re-emergence of Ophelia is going to hit this family like a bomb,” teased co-creator Miles Millar. Whether Aunt Ophelia is set to be her niece’s archnemesis in Wednesday Season 3 is yet to be determined.
On the other hand, Wednesday uncharacteristically saves Tyler Galpin (Hunter Doohan), who is simultaneously offered a “safe space” by Nevermore teacher Isadora Capri (Billie Piper). “Imagine if we got to see Tyler really smile in Season 3 — not a fake barista smile, not an evil grin. It’ll be the first time for the audience — and for Tyler himself — to meet the real Tyler. He’s got a lot of making up to do. And a lot to reconcile with. So I don’t know it’s going to be an easy journey,” Doohan shared. Moreover, Millar revealed, “We will be seeing more Addams family members and learning more family secrets in Season 3!”
While a confirmed release date is not out yet, Wednesday Season 3 is likely to go into production in 2026 and release in summer 2027. Notably, Wednesday’s OG season (2022) and Wednesday Season 2 (2025) had a three-year gap.
