Netflix Wednesday fans praise ‘absolutely beautiful’ dance to Lady Gaga’s new track
Wednesday on Netflix has returned for the second half of season two and it’s safe to say fans are loving this series’ major dance routine.
WARNING: This article contains spoilers from Wednesday.
Lady Gaga has dropped her latest track The Dead Dance to coincide with Wednesday season two’s highly anticipated return.
Following a month-long hiatus, the Netflix hit is back, resuming moments after Wednesday Addams (portrayed by Jenna Ortega) was hurled from Willow Hill’s window.
Fortunately, the brooding teen survived the plunge and in the second-to-last episode, having made a complete recovery, managed to attend Nevermore Academy’s gala.
In the first season, it was Wednesday’s viral dance to The Cramps’ Goo Goo Mucks that helped propel the Netflix series to massive success.
However, this time actress Ortega stepped aside as Enid Sinclair (Emma Myers) and Agnes DeMille (Evie Templeton) claimed the spotlight.
The former enemies-turned-allies steal the show with an extraordinary performance set to Lady Gaga’s The Dead Dance, which debuted today, Wednesday, September 3rd.
The freshly unveiled song marks the third release from the Born This Way icon’s album Mayhem, which launched in March 2025.
On X, previously known as Twitter, viewers expressed their overwhelming enthusiasm for the Wednesday and Lady Gaga partnership.
“Enid and Agnes dancing Dead Dance together, this is everything to me,” one fan gushed.
Another raved: “Had to hit replay on Enid and Agnes’ dance scene that was absolutely beautiful”, while a third chimed in: “Gaga you snapped with Dead Dance OMG.”
One fan gushed: “The dance ahh it’s so good, I’m so happy Emma [Myers] got to dance, I love this, let’s go.”
Another viewer enthusiastically commented: “The chemistry between Evie and Emma in the dance scene, chef kiss.”
