Evie Templeton Reveals She Had to Keep Her Wednesday 2 Role as Agnes a Secret: “My Dad Didn’t Even Know Any Details!”

Evie Templeton, the rising star playing Agnes in Wednesday 2, shared an unexpected story about having to keep her role a complete secret throughout the filming process. Although she had appeared in several projects since she was young, playing Agnes in Wednesday 2 was the biggest opportunity of her career.
According to Evie, her family, including her father, had no idea about the details of her role. She shared: “My dad didn’t even know. He knew I was in the movie, but he didn’t know any details.” Keeping this secret was a huge challenge for her, especially as she had to live with a storyline she couldn’t share with her friends or family.

Talking about her role as Agnes, Evie mentioned she immediately felt connected to the character the moment she read the script: “I really felt connected to Agnes from the first moment. I think everyone has a bit of darkness inside. She’s always seeking recognition and approval.” She described Agnes as a character full of contradictions, but one that felt very close to her emotions and thoughts.
Evie Templeton was born in Barbados in 2009 but currently lives and studies in the UK. From a young age, she has had a passion for classic films, especially black-and-white movies that she often watched with her grandmother. These films sparked her dream of becoming an actress. Whenever she could, Evie would take the train to London for auditions.

Besides acting, Evie enjoys school, particularly subjects like history, literature, and biology. She admits to being an introvert but says that she becomes more extroverted with close friends and family. Evie also reluctantly shared about her first two crushes: Jacob Elordi from The Kissing Booth and Theo James from the Divergent series.
Despite her young age, Evie Templeton has already made a strong impression with her role as Agnes in Wednesday 2, and fans can expect many more surprises from this talented young star in the future.
