Hunter Doohan, the star of Wednesday, recently shared the beautiful story of how he met his husband, Fielder Jewett, and their journey to marriage. The couple first connected on Tinder in 2015, and after several years together, Hunter proposed to Fielder during the pandemic in 2020. They tied the knot in a heartfelt ceremony in June 2022, with Your Honor co-star Bryan Cranston officiating.
In a recent interview on Ira Madison III and Louis Virtel’s Keep It! podcast, Hunter revealed how their relationship blossomed. He described Fielder as “kind of a big everything dork,” always reading and winning trivia nights. Hunter mentioned that the pandemic gave them the chance to spend more time together, leading to their engagement.
When talking about how they met, Hunter simply said, “Tinder.” Reflecting on their relationship, he said, “The pandemic was great for me because I’d been off shooting Your Honor for six months in New Orleans. I came back, and all of a sudden, we got to spend time together.”

Hunter also shared his pop culture obsessions, including his time binge-watching RuPaul’s Drag Race during the filming of Wednesday. He called it a “life-saving thing” while playing a “monster” on set. More recently, Hunter has been hooked on White Lotus, alongside his long-standing love for Shonda Rhimes’ work.
