Country star Zach Bryan wears ‘Free Palestine’ shirt during show at Gillette Stadium

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (TNND) — Country music start Zach Bryan wore a T-shirt with pro-Palestinian messages on it during Friday night’s show at Gillette Stadium in Massachusetts.
The shirt displayed “Free Palestine” across the front, along with a pine-tree image and the phrase “An Appeal to Heaven,” according to video and photographs from the concert.
Several of Bryan’s band members also wore Palestine-themed clothing, WCVB reported.
The show was the first of two scheduled performances at Gillette Stadium on Bryan’s “With Heaven on Tour.” He is set to return to the Foxborough venue on Saturday night.

The appearance came weeks after rapper Macklemore was removed from the remaining dates of Ed Sheeran’s U.S. tour after venue owners objected to his pro-Palestinian onstage comments.
Robert Kraft, the CEO of the Kraft Group, which owns Gillette Stadium, said at the time that Macklemore’s participation in Sheeran’s Gillette Stadium concerts would “cross that line,” citing what he described as rhetoric and imagery hurtful to the Jewish community.
Kraft said the decision was not meant to minimize the suffering of Palestinian civilians or prevent advocacy on their behalf.
Bryan’s shirt drew immediate reaction online, though there was no indication that his scheduled concert on Saturday would be affected.
