Viewing figures for the hit Netflix show Adolescence are soaring with the drama reaching the streamer’s Top 10 Global chart, gaining 96.7 million views in three weeks.
The show, which aired on the streaming service on March 13, has amassed another 30.4 million views in just one week.
The four-part series, which follows the story of a young boy called Jamie Miller (Owen Cooper), who is accused of killing his female classmate Katie, has now landed a spot on Netflix’s all-time most popular TV list.
If the show continues its record-breaking streak, it has a chance to replace top spot Wednesday Season 1 which holds 252 million views.
Or steal second spot Stranger Things 4, with 140 million views.

Stephen Graham, who plays Jamie’s dad Eddie Miller, issued a shock update on the possibility of a second series of Adolescence after the ‘overwhelming’ response to the record-breaking Netflix hit.
The show has received rave reviews and many are desperate to know if there will be a second series.
Speaking with Variety, Stephen said: ‘Possibly, let’s see how the figures are. But yeah, there’s the possibility of developing another story.’
Stephen’s real-life wife Hannah Walters, who plays teacher Mrs Bailey in the show, added of the positive reviews: ‘It’s been overwhelming.
‘A prequel to Adolescence, that’s certainly not going to happen. But yeah, everything’s looking good… everyone’s happy, shall we say?’

Stephen, who created and wrote the show alongside Jack Thorne, has admitted that he didn’t expect Adolescence to be so popular.
He added: ‘I suppose what I’m trying to say is that we had no idea that it would impact socially the way it has…
‘But it seems to have cut through all the race, creed and hierarchical structures of society with the message that it’s carrying about our youth.’

Stephen added: ‘We really did hope that it would spark a bit of a conversation for parents, but the fact that it’s gone global, and it’s just this little town that we shot it in, and it was a small British TV show that we were making.
‘But I don’t personally (think there should be another series).
‘It’s a package of this moment in time, and I think personally, that’s how I feel about it.’
