Legendary F1 racer Lewis Hamilton is considered a true fashion icon with his masculine and striking outfits.

On April 16, Vogue announced its May Met Gala edition, featuring Lewis Hamilton on the cover. He will be one of five hosts at the world’s biggest fashion event this year, alongside Colman Domingo, A$AP Rocky, Pharrell Williams, and Anna Wintour.

The 2025 Met Gala will take place on May 5, with the red carpet theme Superfine: Tailoring Black Style, inspired by the distinctive dressing styles of Black gentlemen from the 18th century to the present. Meanwhile, the exhibition is inspired by Monica Miller’s book Slaves to Fashion: Black Dandyism and the Styling of Black Diasporaic Identity.

Lewis Hamilton, 40, is one of the greatest British drivers in Formula 1 history. He holds the record for seven consecutive championships, equaling the legendary Michael Schumacher. In addition, he also leads in number of wins and many other achievements.

Vogue commented that Hamilton is not only the king of the racetrack but also a shining star in the world of fashion. Over the past 10 years, he has conquered the fashion world with carefully curated outfits, cleverly paired with rings, sunglasses, and bracelets.

The magazine praised him as the best-dressed driver in F1. Hamilton frequently scores style points with full looks from Louis Vuitton, Prada, or brightly colored racing jackets.

Recently, Hamilton has collaborated with stylist Eric Mcneal, transforming traditional suits to make them more modern and interesting through creative cuts and styling. At an event last April, he chose a minimalist sand-colored outfit with sneakers, accented by a pearl necklace and crystal-studded earrings.
